Innovation
Rapidity
Rapidity’s “Stella Artois Tennis Ball Box” combined print craftsmanship with 3D innovation to create a striking promotional piece for the brand’s tennis partnership campaign. Produced in a run of just ten, the container featured printed and laminated greyboard construction wrapped in Colorplan China White with a red polymer lid, 3D-printed in branded relief. Each piece was finished with gold-sprayed, repurposed metal ends, and Spot UV embellishment, bringing tactility to the design.
Gavin Martin Colournet
Gavin Martin Colournet explored the creative and commercial potential of HP Indigo metallic printing through their M+ Metallics Swatch Book – a self-promotional project designed to showcase the versatility of digital metallic inks. Produced on the HP Indigo 7900, the swatch book demonstrates how ElectroInk Silver and CMYK layering can deliver a broad spectrum of metallic shades, from subtle pearlescent tones to rich golds. The project highlights the shift from traditional foil stamping to a more flexible, sustainable digital process, offering shorter runs, faster turnaround, and reduced material waste without compromising quality or impact.
Coastline Graphics
Coastline Graphics created bespoke fighter pilot helmet wraps for the United States Air Force, combining advanced print precision with meticulous hand-finishing. The project pushed the limits of vehicle wrap techniques, adapting them for complex, curved 3D surfaces on a much smaller scale. Using an Epson 9100 printer and 3M IJ280 wrap vinyl, each helmet was finished with a blend of matte and gloss detailing to achieve vibrant, distortion-free results.
Kingsline Solutions
Kingsline Solutions created an innovative hybrid model for charity supporter management, combining data handling, banking, and personalised print fulfilment into one streamlined workflow. Using PReS Connect software, a Ricoh 7200 press, and automated finishing with the Neopost DS 1200, the system enables charities to process and acknowledge donations – both online and offline – within 48 hours. Each communication is dynamically generated, verified by barcode, and merged for postal optimisation. This joined-up approach not only improves efficiency and accuracy for charity clients but also enhances donor engagement through timely, personalised communication.
